Shuttle bus service in Porto Venere
It is hereby announced that, starting from May 2026, the “Cavo Girobus” service will resume in the Municipality of Portovenere. The service connects the Cavo area (where the “Il Golfo” parking facility is also located) with the town center.
Below is the schedule valid until 14 June 2026:
From 1 May to 3 May: service available on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Operating hours: from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a frequency of every 15 minutes.
From 9 May 2026 to 14 June 2026: service available on Saturdays and Sundays. Operating hours: from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a frequency of every 15 minutes.
Additional service on 1 and 2 June. Operating hours: from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM, with a frequency of every 15 minutes.
Special tickets “Cavo Girobus Shuttle Service – Municipality of Portovenere,” valid for the service during the indicated period (round trip valid for two journeys), are sold on board the bus and must be validated upon each boarding. The cost is €2.00.
The following types of passes are available:
- Residents pass: €10.00
- Standard pass: €20.00
Passes are issued by the Municipality of Portovenere offices, are personal, and must be accompanied by a valid identification document.
