ATC for Tourism

VISIT OUR GULF BY BUS: If you have decided to enjoy a short period of relaxation and spend it in our province, there are many places you can visit and the beauties you can enjoy. For those who have not yet decided where to go or who does not know our territory in depth, here are some tips for some bus trips.

We remember that the schedules of our vehicles are divided into weekdays, from Monday to Saturday, and holidays.

PORTOVENERE: At the end of the Gulf of Poets, stands the promontory of Portovenere which - with the islands of Palmaria, Tino and Tinetto (reachable by boat) - is one of the most evocative villages of the Riviera Spezzina. ATC serves Portovenere with lines P and line 11.

Definitely worth seeing are the church of San Lorenzo, the church of San Pietro and the Byron Cave famous for its sunsets. For lovers of walking there is the AV5T path that leads to Mount Muzzerone with its breathtaking view overlooking the sea. Together with the Cinque Terre, the territory of Portovenere has been included among the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Portovenere is also connected with the Cavo car park with the Giro Bus service.

LERICI: It is located in the easternmost part of the Gulf of La Spezia, it has a medieval structure but it is not only a village: in its territory, other places stand out, such as San Terenzo with its castle, the beautiful beach of Venere Azzurra, the beach of Fiascherino and the seaside village of Tellaro with its typical Ligurian streets. From La Spezia or from Sarzana, Lerici, San Terenzo and the beach of Venere Azzurra are reachable by the line S that connects La Spezia - Lerici - Sarzana and also by the line L that connects La Spezia to Lerici. The territory of Lerici and San Terenzo is internally connected by a shuttle bus service.

BAIA BLU (ALTINO): Also this year the direct line between the Baia Blu (Altino stop) and San Terenzo - Lerici starts again. To see the details click here.

CINQUE TERRE: The Cinque Terre, composed of Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso al Mare, constitute a stretch of indented coast of the Ligurian Riviera di Levante. Since 1997 they have been part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are numerous trails that will take you to discover scenic spots and cliffs not reachable by boat or car. The ATC service is only within the villages, you can then reach them by train or ferry and then move within them with our service.

LEVANTO AND MONTEROSSO: There are direct connections between Levanto and Monterosso with localities such as Torpiana, Varese and Ceparana.

FRAMURA: It is located in the Riviera Ligure di Levante, a short distance from the famous Cinque Terre and a few kilometers from the beautiful Portofino. The municipality of Framura is composed of 5 small hamlets, Anzo, Ravecca, Setta, Costa and Castagnola, which extend from the sea inland, along a steep staircase that connects them.

CAMPIGLIA: Campiglia Tramonti is a hamlet of the municipality of La Spezia, located 400m above sea level on the ridge of hills that close to the west the Gulf of La Spezia. It is inserted, along with Portovenere, the islands and the Cinque Terre, within the UNESCO site. For lovers of walking, Campiglia is the junction point of many paths that run along the ridge that separates the gulf from the riviera. The most famous routes are: Monesteroli (path n.536) consisting of a long staircase that ends in a natural pool, Persico (path n.528) which ends with a piece of sea composed of round rocks (a branch of path n.528 leads to Le Rosse), and Portovenere (trail AV5T C.A.I. / n.1 or variant n. 516). The bus that takes you to Campiglia is line 20 that leaves from the central station, active every day.

SARZANA: The town of Sarzana lies between Liguria and Tuscany. The modern landscape alternates with a scenario of great historical, cultural and artistic importance. Several lines are available to reach Sarzana from La Spezia: the line LS, the line 11P and the line SA.

BOCCA DI MAGRA: a small town born as a fishing village, lying on the right bank of the homonymous river, in front of Fiumaretta. ATC services reach Bocca di Magra only on weekdays.

FIUMARETTA - MARINELLA: With the summer period came into force the direct link between La Spezia and Fiumaretta and Marinella, powered by the 1st of July. It was the first of its kind. To view the timetables click here.
